Congratulations on the upcoming wedding. All of us at Shergold Studio are excited that you have considered us to be part of your special day.

The Wedding Program

The “Wedding Program,” which costs $299, includes seven private lessons. Additionally, during every week that you have a private lesson, you may attend any or all of our social dance classes, free. For group classes, please check the class schedule on our calendar [Charlottesville], however, your private lessons could be scheduled weekday, weeknight or weekends. You may set your private lesson appointments online right now by using the set appointment menu item above.

Our Experience

Wedding couples and families / friends make up much of a dance studios business. Therefore, we have tremendous experience in helping you prepare for this day. In fact, many of our customers are referred to us by previous clients. We specialize in the Bride and Groom first dance, the Father and Daughter dance, and the Mother and Son dance.

Song Choice

You do not need to have chosen a piece of music for a dance, although many couples have an “our song”. It also is entertaining and fun to prepare to dance socially at the reception. If you have not chosen a song but would like to, then try one of these top wedding favorites available for purchase and download from us by way of Amazon.com. Tell us your recommended wedding song to have it featured in the play list, or to move it up to number one.

If you have a song chosen, our wedding program is specifically designed to put elements into your song to make it easier to remember. In addition, should your music be challenging for your performance, we will attempt to resample it for tempo and duration specifically for your wedding day at no extra charge. If you do not have a song, don’t worry. Many couples are just as happy to be able to dance socially at the reception with each other and guests, so this program will expose you to the most common social dances to music that is likely to be featured during the event.

Introductory Program

Looking for a more general introduction to dancing? Then ask about our Introductory Program for general social dancing! This program is a thumbnail sketch of partner dancing using the most common and useful dances for the reception. It includes four private lessons and any of our social dance classes on the same weeks as your private lessons.
